GSPIA Alumna Tina Zhang Hired to Serve in Pitt’s New Shanghai Office
Tina Zhang (MPA ’11) has been hired to serve as part of the team that will represent Pitt at the university’s new China office in Shanghai, which is located in the JW Marriott Building in Tomorrow Square. Zhang will focus on duties previously handled through the office in Beijing, including admissions, internships, alumni programming, and special events.
Zhang is a graduate of the Master of Public Administration program at GSPIA, where she majored in public policy research and analysis, and a member of the Shanghai Pitt Alumni Association. Prior to GSPIA, she attended Fudan University, the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and East China Normal University, earning bachelor’s degrees in public administration finance).
While at Pitt, Zhang was a vice president and advisor to the Chinese Students and Scholars Association. She has worked for the Institute for International Studies in Pitt’s School of Education, the Higher Education Administrators Training Program at Wuhan University, and the Idea Foundry, an economic development organization, and its subsidiary, the Pittsburgh Regional Investment Center.
