Join us for the GSPIA Mini Conference: Opportunities and Challenges for the 2030 Development Agenda. 

Student presentations will take place from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Posvar Hall 3911, and there will be poster presentations and pizza on the 3rd floor opening seating area of Posvar Hall from 1-2 p.m., covering: 

  • Gender Equality in Public Administration Working Group and Class;
  • Gender and Development; 
  • Poverty and Inequality; 
  • And Civil War and Conflict Resolution. 

In conjunction with the event, there will be a UNDP Career Talk by Yumna Rathore (MPA '14) in Posvar 3430. Rathore recently joined the UNDP's Human Development Report Office in New York after finishing an assignment with UNDP's Bureau of External Relations and Advocacy. In the past, Yumna also worked in the Partnerships and Communications team at UNDP China and later led a Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation financial inclusion project as a RCT Project Coordinator for Innovations for Poverty Action in Pakistan. In her free time, she also runs her own business development consultancy, working with multiple nonprofit and startup clients in Pakistan. Register for this career talk on GSPIA Connections
