The Hesselbein Forum has curated and published a free Virtual Issue of our Leader to Leader Journal, "Leading Through Coronavirus," selecting articles that leaders will find relevant and practical as they navigate through this uncharted and challenging landscape.
This special virtual issue includes articles that promote productive thinking, instill confidence, and reframe crises as unique opportunities.
The authors and their perspectives represent a cross-section of leadership disciplines and experience, including Bill George (former chair and CEO of Medtronic), Bob Johansen (former president and currently distinguished fellow with the Institute for the Future), Lindsey Anderson (Deputy Director, Operational Coordination Division - Field Operations Directorate of FEMA), Amy Jen Su (managing partner and co-founder of the executive coaching firm Paravis Partners), and the coauthors Eric J. McNulty, Leonard J. Marcus, and Joseph M. Henderson (of the National Preparedness Leadership Initiative at Harvard University).
The Frances Hesselbein Leadership Forum is an initiative at the Graduate School of Public Affairs which reflects the vision of a university-based center for teaching, applied research, and public service where leaders and aspiring leaders from around the world can gather to advance the art and science of leadership and put these principles to practice in public service.
That work continues the legacy of Frances Hesselbein, a Pitt alumna who has received 22 honorary doctoral degrees, has written three autobiographies, and has co-edited 30 books in 29 languages. She is considered one of the country’s most respected experts and greatest leaders in the field of contemporary leadership development.
