Ashley Khor is a PhD candidate of Public Policy at the University of Pittsburgh’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. Her current research centers on public opinion and societal acceptance of public sector use of big tech and artificial intelligence. She has over a decade of practitioner experience as a digital technologist and management scientist. This includes leading a team of data scientists to pilot and implement advanced analytics and machine learning projects to address real world problems in the public and private sector in her role as Health and Public Service Lead for Accenture Singapore as well as Director of Accenture’s Situational Awareness Centre of Excellence. She is passionate about digital transformation, the evolution of smart cities and responsible and ethical implementation of big tech and AI for public service. Ashley enjoys science fiction, contemporary art and scuba diving.
