The Public Policy Micro-credential is designed for doctoral level students from other units on campus to supplement their disciplinary training with some exposure to theory and practice of the Public Policy process. Through this program, students will understand the process of policy analysis and engage in policy analysis, apply interdisciplinary approaches to public policy to their own dissertation research, and think critically about the role of policy in their own research or area they study.
Completion of this micro-credential will require that students take nine credit hours, consisting of two required courses, plus a third course chosen from an approved list.
